Accessibility Statement

The purpose of this page is to detail the accessibility adjustments made to the Rich Medical website, and the ways in which users can adapt the site to their needs. Our accessibility adaptations were carried out in accordance with Regulation 35 of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Service), 5773-2013, subject to changes and adjustments made in the Israeli Standard document. Accessibility compatibility was tested on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Mozilla, and Edge browsers.

Using the Website

The following are some of the actions taken to make the website accessible via the accessibility menu available on the site:

  • Keyboard Navigation: Enabling full navigation using a keyboard.

  • Screen Reader Compatibility: Optimizing the site for assistive technologies such as NVDA and JAWS.

  • Text Resizing: Increasing the website font up to 7 different sizes.

  • Blink Blocking: Stopping moving elements and blocking flashing/blinking content.

  • Contrast Adjustment (Dark): Changing color contrast based on a dark background.

  • Contrast Adjustment (Light): Changing color contrast based on a light background.

  • Color Blindness Support: Adapting the website for color-blind users.

  • Readable Font: Changing the font to a more legible one.

  • Cursor Adjustment: Enlarging the cursor and changing its color to black or white.

  • Display Zoom: Enlarging the display up to approximately 200%.

  • Highlight Links: Visually emphasizing links across the site.

  • Highlight Headings: Visually emphasizing headings across the site.

Note: Compatibility tests achieved the highest results using the Google Chrome browser.

The website provides a semantic structure for assistive technologies and supports standard keyboard operation patterns using the Arrow keys, Enter, and Esc to exit menus and windows.

Adjusting Text Size

  • To enlarge text: Press Ctrl +

  • To decrease text: Press Ctrl –

  • To reset text to its original size: Press Ctrl 0

Adjusting Screen Display Size

  • To enlarge the screen (Full Screen): Press the F11 key.

  • To return the screen to its original size: Press the F11 key again.

Browsing the Site Without a Mouse

The website is fully optimized for keyboard-only browsing. Pressing the TAB key will move the keyboard focus between different objects and/or links on the page, and using the Arrow keys along with the Enter key will allow you to select various options.
